Cunningly Crumpled

Posted by AG (London, United Kingdom) on 4 August 2006 in Plant & Nature.

I have tended not much to post the individual lily and lotus blooms in the Waterlily House because, frankly, the posted image often falls so short of experiencing the living bloom.

But this one looked so joyful with these crumpled petals and wild center that I could not resist an attempt. And, hey, it’s why the ’House is there!
