Under Grass

Posted by AG (London, United Kingdom) on 26 May 2007 in Documentary & Street.

Those of you who know Trafalgar Square, London, will know it as a hard, paved area surrounded by the madness of traffic.

But, for just two days this week, a large part of the Square has been laid to temporary grass and the transformation has been an amazement. Not only is it soft and inviting underfoot but the sound levels are reduced and it becomes a place for people to sit, eat, gossip and generally enjoy the day.
