Mews

Posted by AG (London, United Kingdom) on 29 March 2008 in Documentary & Street.

These ‘mews’ style properties in London’s Mayfair originally had stables or carriage-houses beneath them which are now used as garages. The accommodation contains many other oddities like the very narrow street doors that can be seen here and tall roofspaces once directly accessible by hoist for the storage of goods and feed.
