Middle Temple Lane

Turning to look down Middle Temple Lane, we see this quaint outfitters supplying just wigs, gowns and robes to the barristers and officers of the courts.

To either side of the shop are stairs leading up to the ‘Chambers’ of barristers with each entrance displaying a rack of ‘shingles’ carrying their name.
