A guy name of Cephas Howard lived at the adjoining No. 22 while he had the house behind the huge concrete number built. He was a member of the Temperance Seven jazz band, a program designer for the BBC and a writer of children's books.

My next series - a shorter one ! - will be of the history of the street where this stands.
