Probably already too many heron images on this site but I post this one in part answer to those who ask how I can get so close. It is not I who get close but the heron who gets close to me ! Here she is following me thru the park and no amount of my flapping of arms will deter her. In fact, I truly suspect she thinks I am learning to fly!
