Another 35 Years

The BMC/BL Vanden-Plas Princess was the top of that range of cars in the early-1970s and sported a walnut-veneer dashboard and door cappings, had fold-down picnic tables in the back and leather upholstery, tufted carpets and cloth headlining. In 1965, the price was £926 / $1,812 (equivalent to around £13,000 / $25,500 today). The last one left the factory on this very day in 1974.
