Glazed Brick

Glazed brick was a popular facing for a short period during the early 20th century and has proved very durable. Some might say that is unfortunate but there it is and I do like the Art Deco grilles along the top. Anyhow, this little lane leads thru to Barnard's Inn, a courtyard of much earlier vintage and greater charm.
